Tsk. "Never end a sentence with a preposition."

It should be: "Where is your house at, sir?"

(Noobs.)

At my street.

In my town.

In my county.

In my state. (Not NM, tho I was born in Albuquerque.)

Here in America.

k?

I never said "help yourself" to my stuff.

If you're in the neighborhood of Sacramento, California, let me know, though.

Do you really need to hijack every thread with this? I realize you have a hard time seeing anything besides the QB competition, but you have a whole thread dedicated to the topic. ..

Ya gotta love hearing about practices like the one this morning. It's winning these little victories that are going to allow the team to build confidence and start to come together.

Post of the day and it was against me! I do admit when a good point was made and the village comment had me busting up.

Fine!!! No Hill/Smith negativity for 2 full days.

Actually, while you're correct to an extent, the proper sentence should be:

"Where is your house, sir?"

And, it is okay to end a sentence with a preposition in certain cases. Just not in the one the former poster had written.

Yes, I know. (BA English, UC Berkeley. MA English, UCLA. Taught English for several years.)

I was just trying to avoid him coming back at me with "Where's your house at, a*****e," which is the way the joke usually goes.

Didn't realize I'd awaken your inner grammar czar. Thanks for the help.

Carry on.

Well, actually, I've heard about girls like you, and, well, um, how to say this . . . my wife would kill me. Sorry.

Really, has nothing to do with ur looks.

Or ur grammar.

I'm sure you've got a great personality, and you'll find the right guy, someday.

Maybe.

Good luck with that.
How many fake sacks were reported for our defense today?

Two (2) days? That's it?

That won't even get us through the next preseason game on Saturday!

C'mon, Joe. How about til the first regular season game? Give it a rest til then, and maybe you'll get out of the habit entirely.

I said two days because then everyone will see....must stop.

I wonder if our DBs began playing better after that Raider receiver tried to talk it up with Spencer.

Pass protection is sketchy.

Saturday will show ya.

raye just praised coffee's protection

but we will see

the fact that Coffee is being praised on his protection is great for him but bad for the OLine. that means that someone got beat and Coffee was the last line of defense for the QB
