It'll be interesting what the early verdict is.

Won't matter because people will still be stuck in traffic by fourth quarter.

can't WAIT till Levi's is PACKED w/ Niners fans!

Yes. Jon Busch said in his post game interview that it was very loud on the field, crowd helped them win in the end. Also saw a few other players mention the crowd on twitter.

Quite impressive considering at least half that crowd were Niner fans that probably don't even follow soccer or the team.

We'll get a better idea of crowd noise by preseason when it's full capacity and filled with Niner fans.

I remember some fans were b***hing when it was a announced a soccer game would be the first official event. Anyone still feel that way? Traffic and slow VTA would've been even more nightmarish opening with 70K fans. They have a lot of kinks to work out between now and the upcoming preseason games this month to make this process smoother and more refined.

I hate to be so pessimistic but I don't think they're going to fix the freeway in a month's time.

On the plus side, though, the more fans that get tied up in traffic, the better the chance the O-line will be able to hear an audible.

The problems weren't with the Freeways. The freeways were fine from all I've heard.

The problem was traffic on the surface streets. They just need to figure out how many people will be using which streets to change the flows of traffic.

Time people. This was the whole point of doing practice games for the stadium.
LOL.

To anyone who actually believes Maiocco would tweet that....

I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

him & killion can EAD

Ratto doing what Ratto do...

Correct.
Also read that Great America ran a huge discount and let out all the patrons at the same time the game ended (methinks on purpose). it was said to be tens of thousands. Also there was some miss-communications by the people running the show and there will be extra public transportation made available by extra space to park the rail cars come start of preseason.

This is all about giving people who like to worry about stuff something to worry about.

Re:noise. Nice to find out we might have a noise advantage in the new stadium. However we almost did a 3 peat because we had an 18+ away game win streak. I hope our away games will be as strong as our home games if we have one of the better home field advantages.

Definitely. I think being a great away team is just as important if not more important than great home field advantage. Seattle has always had a great HFA but last year they took it to another largely because they started winning their road games too.

We're already a great road team so to possibly have better HFA will be great, especially come playoff time.
