With any project you are going to have people protesting and saying it is the worst thing ever.

exactly..you won't hear them complaining in 5-10 years when SC is hosting the super bowl, soccer games, concerts, other businesses popping up around the stadium, etc.

Depends on where you're coming from, for me it's 40 minutes closer.

Woah. They have sold $270 Mill worth of Suites and that doesn't include any of the SBLs yet. The 80K club seats (not included in the $270 million) are almost sold out on the 49er locker room side....and they haven't put a shovel in the dirt yet.

Anyone still think they are going to have trouble with the financing?

A 13-3 record and an appearance in the NFC title game could not have come at a better time.

f**king ya:

Quote from article:

Many of those in the lower bowl, he said, likely will cost $4,000 to $8,000. Upper-bowl seats could be $1,000 or $2,000.Read more here:

That is really really f**king good news. I can easily do that. Booyaaa...f**king so pumped for this two years to go by.
As a Bengals fan, let me say that I am glad a classic team like the 49ers will finally get the home it deserves. Hopefully, they won't be sharing it with the Raiders.

That 1st sentence of the article was pretty much for area49 lol.
father in law who lives in sac called me last night and said the news just showed them breaking ground at the stadium site. havent seen anything anywhere, but he never calls me for anything....ever.....so that has to give it some credit. also said the seat licenses are 80k, even for previous season ticket holders.

lol....

I know it's really long, but just go back a few pages on this thread.

They are doing work on and around the 49ers training facility to "make ready" to break ground on the stadium. Probably just a few months away.

The 80K Seat licenses are the most expensive in the building and are only for the premiere Club seats in the building with padded seats and all sorts of other extras and other access. The Club seats range from 80K per to 10K per, but only 9000 seats in the stadiums are club seats. The rest will be considerably cheaper or not require an SBL at all.

No worries man, but this is well covered territory. ;-)
