What are club seats?

i know, stupid question.

The Club seats are the seats everyone is complaining about without understanding. You know those HUGE SBL prices that everyone is looking at and claiming you need to be a corporation to afford them and that "real fans" would be priced out of the building? Those are the club seats. If you look at the picture of the stadium, they are directly below the suite stack and have access both to the stack itself, a deck behind the player bench, and an area where the players enter and leave the field. It also has larger, padded seats. Below pic kinda shows where they are....

Oh ok i see, right on Marvin

LOL

BTW...if you wanna see what the Club seats give you access to outside of your bigger, more comfortable seat....

This is why peeps are freaking out. Candlestick doesn't have club seats. They have no direct comparison. The SBL for these seats is between 20K and 80K, but in Dallas they went for as much as 150K.

The rest of the stadium will be much more modestly priced. Unfortunately, people who have currently have season tix in this comparable "area" at the 'stick are getting SERIOUS sticker shock when they see the price of the SBL. There are only 9K of these seats tho in a 68K seat stadium.

LOL. Agreed. I keep telling my wife that if we hit the Lotto the first thing I'm buying is a Suite in the new Stadium.

Having never been to a 49ers game , I know nothing about the San Fran area or anything. What is the big patch of bare land I squared off?

That's a piece of s**t of a stadium. Can't wait until 2014.

Details, details...

It's a HILL of solid rock and it's 4 times the size of the stadium. It's one of the problems with building the new stadium on that site. They are "pinned" between a HILL and the Water.

the stadium seems to have a cool location, but I could definitely see why there's be problems building around there.

I love the place because of all of the memories, but it was NEVER a state of the art facility. It was built for baseball and originally was open in the outfield. They eventually closed it, but it has ALWAYS had serious issues. It wasn't built to accomodate 68k+ fans. Thats why the corrodors are so narrow and it's so hard to get around. Unless you are right next to a bathroom, it's almost impossible to go to the bathroom at the end of the half and get back before kickoff...let alone get a hotdog or drink.
