Not the case actually. The prep work has begun at least around the stadium site at 49ers HQ. Utility lines need to be move and new passageways need to be created around 49ers HQ as the street where you now come in to get to 49ers HQ will cease to exist.

Just reading their s**t. They are complaining because they don't believe they will be able to raise 330 million from BSLs. They are complaining about the fact that the BSL's may not sell. If that s**t sells they have nothing to complain about.

On June 3, 2009, Jed York appeared on Comcast Chronicle Live and displayed a correct pie chart of the costs, showing $114 million from the City of Santa Clara, $330 million from Santa Clara's agency, the Stadium Authority, and $493 million from the 49ers.

But since June 3, 2009, the 49ers campaign has been hiding the $330 million from the Stadium Authority by lumping it in with the 49ers share to presend that the 49ers are giving $823 million.



The $330 Million from the Stadium Authority comes primarily from the selling of Personal Seat Licenses and Naming Rights which are high risk sources (see Stadium Authority $330 Million on the main page).

What is boils down to is that March 5th is a huge day. On 3/5/12 the Santa Clara County Superior Court will conduct a hearing to decide whether or not the terms of the construction financing should be put up to a new referendum as requested by the NIMBY's. If the Court rules for the City the brakes are completely off. If the court rules for the group that wants the new referendum then the 49ers will need to win another election in June, which at worst torpedo's the project or at best delays completion to 2015. This must be why Jed is still hedging the 2015 date.

Does anybody have a clue when the construction is to begin? I've heard July 1st, May 1st and now June 1st.

They just don't want the stadium. It has nothing to do with money. It has nothing to do with "playing fair". They just don't want it.

Whenever an issue is put to bed, it's something else.

"We shouldn't spend tax dollars!!". There are no Tax Dollars.
"Oh....we shouldn't spend general fund money!!!". There is no money from the general fund.
"Hrmm...um....We would make more money as a city if you put a business park there instead of a stadium!!". Yeah, thats why people have been banging down your door for 10 years trying to do so.
