I looked over the current pricing they have released and they over-layed it onto the old stadium. It covers my current seats but the letter I got from the 49ers says my turn will not be till later in the year. Still really interested in seeing what my BSL will be.

i wonder hwo much its gonna cost to go to the first pre-season game and first regular season game at the new stadium?

Also, Jed was on Chronicle Live earlier and he said that the stadium is going to open 2015 WITH THE Possibility of 2014.

Santa Clara officials are expected to approve a construction contract tonight. Then it's groundbreaking and construction will commence.

Correct. He's being political. The contract with the Construction Firm is with the City and the Mayor says it WILL be built for 2014 season.

After the vote tonight, they'll make it official and then everyone can say that 2014 is the target. I agree, Jed is just being political.

Ya...I'm gonna drive by the site again today, but they are moving like this WILL happen. They have broken down a wall at the team HQ, eliminated the parking lot, and mowed down Singletary's "Mount Pain" in order to build access roads to the facility (because there will no longer be a Centennial Blvd). They are getting the actual site and HQ (as they will now be right next to each other an kinda one big 49er complex) ready to break ground.

The 49ers and City wouldn't be paying for all of this unless they KNEW this thing was going to happen. They wouldn't do this if a few months from now they were just going to have to rebuild the wall or parking lot.

Anyone who thinks that the Lawsuit will do ANYTHING to derail this project needs to puff-puff-pass.

This is hella coo. I'm stuck in Sacramento, so if u can put up pics on here, that would be excellent.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I f**king hate Sacramento now, but we may get a new arena for the kings doe.
OK......I drove down at lunch today to see what was going on there. First, I'll show a map of exactly where I was in order to get an idea of what you are looking at. There is an overpass nearby the site that goes over a road and train tracks. Looking at a map, it just looks like a road, but it is in fact an overpass. Below is the site showing where I was in red and where everything is/will be. Forgive the quality of the Photos...they were taken with my iPhone. Once construction actually begins, I'll have a better camera.

This first picture is where I have "Parking?" on the map. I dunno if it's going to be parking or part of the Montana/DeBartolo project. It's IS currently being flattened out right now. You can see the golf course there in the background.

This one is of the Stadium Site itself. 49ers employees are parking on it now and Construction Crews are using it for storage, etc to do the "make ready" work. You can see Great America Roller Coasters in the background.

This is a shot of the 49ers HQ. Those are soccer fields in the foreground.

This is the soon to be extinct Centennial Blvd. with the HQ on the left and the Stadium Site on the right. When completed, the structures will sit about 20 feet from each other.

And finally, i walked a bit farther down the sidewalk to get a shot of the Parking Garage under construction. It's kinda hard to see as it's a bit down the road...if you start at the traffic signal and move your eye straight down...that's it. It then extends almost all the way across the picture. As you can see in the map, it's across the street from the stadium. I THINK the Montana/DeBartolo project will sit right next to it....so between my vantage point and the garage.
