I understood what you meant. We finally have a competent running back where we don't have to think about using a high pick on one.

Same way we may finally have a replacement (at least one) for Bowman/Willis. It doesn't mean these players are in the same stratosphere as those 49ers legends. It's just nice to have someone good back there.

Rough game for Frank today. Terrible OL blocking as usual, don't think he had a single carry where he wasn't hit within a yard of the LOS. More importantly I think he had a lower right leg injury and didn't play down the stretch. Definitely worried because the cameras caught him unusually frustrated after a couple runs when he got stood up and was unable to drive through the defender for some extra yards. Hard to say how seriously he got hurt, total armchair speculation but hoping for the best.

Frank also set a few milestones today:

• Most notably he moved ahead of Curtis Martin for 3rd longest all-time RB starting streak with 120 straight.
• He is now the all-time leading rusher after age 30 with 5,803 yds and counting, moving ahead of Emmitt.
• He increased his record of 500 rushing yds in 14 straight seasons to 600x14.
• He tied TO and Fitz with 700 scrimmage yds in 14 straight seasons.
