Not a chance in hell he catches Barry this year. He averaged 9 carries in the first 2 games, and only had 6 today. Even being aggressive, I can't see him getting more than about 150 carries this year. He'd need to average like 7.5 yards a carry to pass Barry with that few attempts.

I doubt he plays next year, but frankly I'm surprised he even played in 2017 or 2018. Who knows.
I bet he plays another season. He doesn't appear to have slowed down.

Dude will be like rice and have to be cut in camp in order to retire

i don't think he catches him. these games so far aren't a real indicative of how good he still is, their whole running game has been awful.

but he needs a little more than 1,000 yards. i doubt he gets more than 500-600 this year. and if he happens to continue to play bad, even if it's more the OLs fault, teams won't look at it that way when it comes to a 35 year old RB.

He's got 98 Yards rushing and a 4.1 YPC average right now.

the last two games he has 37 yards on 15 carries...he's played bad for two weeks straight. i didn't say if he continues to play like he did week 1.
Frank will play as long as he wants to play, he made the game clinching play in each of the last two games. He's always been more than just the stats.

Shoestring catch on 3rd and 19 to put away the game vs the Jets

Seal block downfield to spring the clinching TD vs the Raiders (check his sweet footwork leading up to the block, no one else pulls off this block so easily and looks this good doing it)

Shoutout to Gase for keeping Frank's consecutive start streak alive. 111 and counting, longest active starting streak among skill positions (RB/WR/TE). Second longest active RB starting streak is Jordan Howard at 32 games, 79 behind Frank or almost five full seasons.

Low key, Frank is closing in on the 3rd longest RB starting streak ever, the three guys ahead of him are:
Ricky Watters 116
Eddie George 130
Walter Payton 170

GOFRANKGO!
Grats to Frankie on becoming only the 5th RB to play 200 games, joining:
  1. Emmitt Smith 226
  2. Brian Mitchell 223
  3. Marcus Allen 222
  4. Earnest Byner 211

Miami got wiped out this week but Gase left Frank in on a late drive and he carried the offense down the field, finishing it off with a TD.
Nice Gore
So funny. No one gets small like frank.
Wish more than anything we kept Frankie. A true Niner.
