Oh yeah!
Go Frankie Go
You guys think there is a remote chance he catches Barry this year? Could he even plan next season? That would have to be a record for years played by a running back.

Smith played 14 years. This is Gores 13th season i believe.

Not sure if any others played longer at RB.
Proud of former 49ers like Gore and Smith. We may not have won much with them before Harbaugh, but there will always be a special place in my heart for those years. Things still felt pure. Sports wasn't about politics first. We still had our 5-0 SB record. Seeing Gore continue to play reminds me of those days still at Candlestick. Damn, now I'm depressed.

Marcus allen played from 82-97

Sure did, but he took his last five years in Los Angeles off (not by choice lol).

Not a chance in hell he catches Barry this year. He averaged 9 carries in the first 2 games, and only had 6 today. Even being aggressive, I can't see him getting more than about 150 carries this year. He'd need to average like 7.5 yards a carry to pass Barry with that few attempts.

I doubt he plays next year, but frankly I'm surprised he even played in 2017 or 2018. Who knows.

I bet he plays another season. He doesn't appear to have slowed down.
