Because we should pay 20 mill right ?

No, because Jed York said "somehow we will get it done". In other words, don't fxxking talk sh*t when you haven't the faintest clue whether you could get a deal done, is called talking out of your as*. (disregard whether the Eagles are overpaying him).

Gore hasn't signed yet...and no reports have came out of 9er camp.....I'm pretty sure all of us said we want gore back...so we are all liars

Jed said several times he was confident they would get a deal done. He didn't just say "I like gore it'd be cool if he came back"

Anyone who thinks there is still a chance he stays with us is fooling themselves.

Not everything is guranteed in this world, and if you want to hold him accountable ..then people should other high ranking people accountable

He and his family wanted gore to stay..looks like gore wants the cash

No, no, no. Is not about giving out guarantees. Jed York is better off in saying nothing until he can get a deal done. Once you start talking you are going to create expectations.

And by the way, there is nothing wrong if Frank wanted more cash cos he damn well deserves it.
Wont belive it till the ink drys.

Yeah gore is gonna need the money. He's not the brightest lamp in home depot so having this last big payday will last him and his family for a long time.

Some one asked the question he answered truthfully...quote is a few posts back...nothing wrong with that either

With all due respect, this is a ridiculous statement. Is it possible that he really does/did want him back, and that the Iggles came hard after Gore with some big fat money? These are not mutually exclusive actions ... in other words, both things could be equally true. Your anti York bias is shining through brightly.

Nothing ridiculous about my statement at all. If Jed York has the audacity to say he will get a deal down then he better get a deal done disregard what the Eagles are offering. What will be ridiculous is Jed York claims he can do something and then fails to deliver it.

In other words, he is better off in saying nothing and let his actions speak rather than opening his big mouth.

I just hope he doesn't get taken advantage of by the Eagles and be promised a bigger role than he really gets. I know being the primary RB is still very important to him, will be interesting to see how many touches he gets in that wide open offense

He will take the roll day one in practice when he blows up a blitzer is pass protection and blows thRough every hole. The guy is a machine.
They gonna use him a lot. I'll be sad every Sunday when he's all over the highlight reels.

i just got a feeling he won't last over there
Last? Idk about last. But I'll bet he has a great year over there...unfortunately
He may wear down in that no huddle fast paced scheme. But holy s**t...I bet they come out like gang busters...

Since McCoy did so well, you're probaly right
I love Frank Gore like everyone else. That being said, this move actually makes us faster at running back. Hyde has the power of Frank but is much faster. Hunter is also quick and both are home run potential threats any time on the field. Gore will be missed from the standpoint of leadership and gamesmanship, not easily replaced I know, but we will be just fine. I think it is strange that no current 49er (that I know of) has tweeted or instagramed any good luck wishes.

This is still how i am feeling wish it wasn't tru.

Maybe I am a jerk or just see the big picture... Frank wants to get paid, the Niners want to save as much as they can. That leads to conflict and frank walking. It is unfortunate, but part of the game. It happens every year to many players yet people still make such a big deal out of it.

I am a 49er fan, not a player fan
If only Roman would of gave Gore the ball

I know... HaRo screwed us in the end... at least Seattle already had a SB before they screwed themselves. Although their playcalls still made more sense than our SB playcalls

Give me a break. Go back and watch the end of that drive. The Ravens were stacking the box with a heavy blitz on every play. There was no opportunity to run against that front.

If anything we shouldve rolled Kap out and set up blockers to the outside.
