Idk.. I thought our short/intermediate passing game was working fine, especially during the hurry up. I think romans problem is trying too hard to incorporated too many elements... For example, the pointless running play with Bruce Ellington to start the 2nd half, or the goofy QB runs that we were lucky even went for positive yardage. Kap isn't a smart qb, he's rhythm qb... Make it to where he doesn't have to think and he'll excel, but when you let the playclock run and give the defense a chance to adjust and feint blitzes, kap will s**t himself.

Thank you. I agree completely. Even Kendall Hunter is dynamite receiving passes but Kaepernick has thrown to him maybe 3 times in 2 years before he got injured. Kaepernick is allergic to passing underneath to running backs. I've been saying this in vain since he entered the league.

Can you blame him ? He only got 6 carries. Our offense is what's holding this team back and also that lack of KEY players on defense

I wanted to see a lot more of Gore today, you can tell he wanted the ball a lot more.

Kap isn't the coach or offensive coordinator. Even during the Nolan era, we used to pass to Gore out of the backfield..he was one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL. Now...Harbaugh and Roman rarely call this play or call screen passes. I wonder if Frank has ever brought this up to them, it's high time someone did.

kap repeatedly looked past gore in the second half for flares and check downs. that is not romans problem that is kaps problem. Weird home run decision making that keeps getting us into problems. Frank is fine. Our QB blew it 2nd half with long long reads and a home run mentality. Two picks were dropped, otherwise no one would be thinking he had a good game.

Gore has completely disappeared this season but thats not on him. He hasn't been given the same opportunties.

Why would we use Gore/Hyde/Ellington when we can use our Franchise QB with a bad back instead and continue to let him get beat up?

Boldin had a brain cramp and stalled a great looking drive...That's on Boldin, not Kap.
J. Martin continues to be crap and chop blocked a defender..15 yard penalty.. even though Kap already ran past the defender...That's on Dolphin boy, not Kap.
I saw 3rd and 15-20+ yards when the Cards were on offense a couple of times and our secondary allowed them to get a first down. The secondary...not Kap.
P. Willis got through and put Stanton on his backside, it was a sack, the zebras saw "roughing the passer"
. Touchdown cards..That's crap officiating...not on CKThis is the first time we've lost with CK posting a 100+ passer rating.
Gore has a right to be pissed...why Roman and Harbaugh didn't involve him more, I'm sure they have their reasons

Perfect game plan right?

Kaepexcuses. Everyone keeps saying this is on the coaches, as if there aren't 3 or 4 receiving options on every play, including a short one. When you have a lead and you are trying to keep the ball away from another team, your running backs become imperative.
I've never seen a Niners QB with more disdain for handing off the ball than Kaepernick. It's as if he saw that Frank was the man in the locker room (supporting Alex) and because of his ego while trying to make a name for himself, he's deliberately ignored Frank since he became a starter. He only seems to gives him the ball when the coaches force him too or he has no other options and is about to take a sack.

Averaging 1 yard per carry versus the Cardinals last year? The Cardinals had 9 and 10 guys regularly on the line, when Gore and Hyde did run the ball, they mostly had nowhere to go, guys were swarming them right at the line of scrimmage. If the other team is selling out the run, then you keep passing the ball, its that simple, you don't run "just because that's the way we also done things 'round here", that is Singletary logic.
Kaepernick completed almost 80% of his passes, clearly the passing offense was working but they kept getting away from it or inserting random gimmicks.

The Cardinals are without Daryl Washington and Darnell Dockett this year. It is not the same run defense, and we didn't even try to test them at all.
