This is so lame..something must be done about this..fans are getting RIPPED OFF! Must be people with computer programs set up..so illegal! There should be prosecutions, no joke.

Here is what I wrote on the 49ers message board during the whole pre-sale deal for the divisional playoff. I still believe this to be completely true...if not, more true now.


"Earlier I posted how I thought something fishy was going on and now I have more reason to believe this is the case. I have been following tickets for the playoff game fairly closely for a number of weeks using things like stubhub and ebay. Ticketmaster ticket exchange was also not available until the playoff game/date was confirmed and I took a look at tickets there as well once they came online. Shortly after the season ticket holder pre-sale occured there was a ton of movement on ticket exchange. A huge number of seats in the upper box sections (north endzone - above the jumbotron) became available. These were not single tickets or even 2 tickets. These were like 14-15 ticket lots with high price tags of course. So whats the big deal....Well...I am also a new season ticket holder myself who recently selected my seats for the playoffs and next season. When choosing my seats the upper box sections of the north endzone were widely available. A large number of these sections were only occupied with like 20% of season ticket holders at that point in time. So...What happend to all those empty seats in the north upper box sections and where did all these newly posted lots of seats on ticket exchange come from in those very sections? hmm....doesnt take a genius to figure out. Either a broker bought all of them up as season tickets for next year and got the tickets that way....or there is some serious underground dealing going on here."

Its ticketmaster employees selling inside to industries before they are for sale, or just moving the tickets to ticketexchange and making a huge profit

tried for 1 for half an hour and nothing, was on right at 10am jerks!

I hope a lawyer gets on this, not even joking..if I was one..I would go after this. Ticketmaster only cares about money..shady. But what can be done if ticketmaster employees are in on this, selling away? Ya, if they are moving all the tickets to ticketexchange..that sounds criminal to me. And no more tickets available at all? Is there a different pool of tickets at 1? Or are they all just magically gone? Mmm, Ticketmaster is up to no good and they should really answer us, we have the right to know what is going on here. Ya, I am mad, lol.

Hmmm.

It's capitalism at its finest. If season ticket holders didn't get tickets to this game, you'd have a gripe. Outside of that, there is a HUGE revenue opportunity for the franchise that can be then used to sign players, provide bonuses, etc. Why should they let you buy for cheap and make all the profit?

Nothing surprising here. It's corporate America at its finest. Hell, good luck even getting a Super Bowl ticket even if you are a season ticket holder. I believe 17% of ALL tickets to the game get split between the two teams STH'ers. The rest? Corporate.

9000 plus tickets at insane prices nobody is going to pay for lol they are going to come down

whats funny is when I put in for 2 a few times it said that my password was not good for that amount so it sounds like they put most of us on a limit of just 1 ticket, that means there are very few tickets left
