I agree, he looks fast but in that highlight reel it didn't seem like he was blowing DBs away on a regular basis. It was more like he was consistently squeaking through defenders/coverage on his way to the endzone which is still great but not the same. Let's see how he adjusts to the speed of the NFL where DB's will be able to hang with him more easily.
He was faster pre-injury when he actually did blow by guys, his first season he was rarely run down unless it was by a guy who had a good angle.
The injuries from his Soph season made him more of a possession guy.
I mean he's had multiple 80+ yard receptions, but none after he got hurt a little under halfway through his Soph year.
I'm sure he'll regain some of that speed once he heals.

By the way, if anyone is in the mood for a good laugh, check out Pete Prisco's draft grades over at CBS Sports. I didn't read this entire thread so maybe it's been brought up. His main headline for his intro is that the 49ers drafting Crabtree was a questionable move. He goes on to give us a C or C- if I remember correctly.

Who do you guys think he is most similar too in the NFL?
I heard NFL network or ESPN that he is very similar to Andre Johnson and Anquan Boldin. If that is the case, we are set.

That's pretty accurate. One of his best traits is running after the catch, and he uses his strength, leverage and quickness very well to evade tackles.

Doesn't Prisco despise the Niners? All these years I've been reading his stuff, not once do I remember him writing anything good about us. If he can say something good about us, he won't. It's when he has something bad to say that he pounces.
