My money is on Shaun Hill going o-fer AT the Cards, AT the Vikes, vs. Falcons, AT the Texans, AT the Colts, vs the Titans, AT the Packers, vs the Jags and AT the Eagles.

All playoff teams except the Texans who just missed it and the Jags, but they are in the toughest division in football. Hill has not faced that kind of competition yet.

say what you want....but facts show that Shaun Hill did his part in helping knock the Buffalo Bills out of the playoff picture by beating them at Buffalo.....there was alot of pressure during that game....the Bills had just put 54 points up the previous week against the Chiefs and everyone thought we were going to get slammed.....

then Hill came back the next week and helped beat the Jets and totally out played Brett Farvra...and again basically knocked the Jets out of the playoff picture....

and of course 2 very close games where we had a chance to win it but something happened that wasn't Hill's fault at the end
the playoff bound Dolphins and the SuperBowl bound Cards...

I think Hill will do fine against playoff type teams like he has already proved.

I can't wait till the season starts

Okay, the Bills and the Jets IMPLODED. The 49ers didn't "knock them out" of anything. Those teams still had time to right their ships and they didn't. This wasn't the Broncos in '06.

As for the Cardinals, they played like a different team after that game, but you're right it was close. As for the Dolphins, all you have to do is score more points, and Hill struggled to do that all game long.
2009 training camp: 49ers' top goals

Quote:
Singletary said Hill and Smith are in a virtual dead heat. He also acknowledges that Hill's performance at the end of last season carries some weight in the what-have-you-done-for-me-lately world of the NFL. Hill ostensibly is in the lead entering training camp, Smith is closing in and has a legitimate shot take the job away from him before the season begins.

Come on... By this logic, we will have another loosing season if Alex starts cause he does not have a winning record... This logic Fails.

You can't apply that logic to Smith because he hasn't played a regular season game in 2 seasons. You don't know how he'll do. Shaun Hill just came off a half a season where he beat 0 playoff teams, and the teams from here only get tougher.

This is betting logic. If Alex starts, do you think the betting odds get better? No. Smart money says Hill will lose to those teams.

Nope, Its called a slippery slope fallacy... And you can apply this fallacy to anything you want (but it still makes for poor logic)

hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. You must be a PETA member because although Vick has spent nearly two years in the pen, even a blind man can see that his talent is far superior to that of any quarterback on our team.

I sure hope that was sarcasm. Even I know Shaun Hill is better in the NFL than that bum.

No sarcasm. While I don't know you or how much you know about football, I do know that Vick's on the field talent has never been a matter of question. Unlike Shaun Hill, who is currently entrenched in a heated quarterback competition with the legendary Alex Smith (there's your sarcasm).
1. Vick is slime
2. Vick is a below average passer
3. Vick, if even reinstated, will miss too much TC/preseason to be useful to any team
4. Vick, at this point, is not any better than the Alex or Shaun
5. Vick would be a disaster for SF
