Evans. Okay. But he is older and didn't do much last season, right?

Linderbaum got a 3 year deal with the Raiders for $81 million. By far the biggest deal ever for a center. No way the Niners would have offered that even if they wanted him.

We really should be looking at % of cap space vs. absolute numbers. It's roughly 9% of '26 cap space, perhaps lower if there are void deals or unattainable incentives.
My hypothesis is that it's closer to 6-7%, which is not bad for a blue chip player. Raiders can afford it because they have a young roster with a rookie starting QB. Now with the news of Geno Smith being cut and Crosby traded, the only $20M+ player they have on the roster is Kolton Miller.
Time to load up wisely.

These corners are getting paid. Niners might just need to give Green another shot and draft a corner.

I understand but 9% is a lot more cap space than any other team has used for a center. The Raiders can afford it so mor epower to them. The Niners couldn't.

Sweet! We'll take a kicker, a punter, and a uhhh... a player projected to go in round 7 sounds about right
