Wasnt this dude like a top CB just a year or two ago? WTF happened? i couldve sworn he was like already being put in the HOF.
Was it the case of one year wonders, did he fall off, or is there something that is happening crime wise that hasnt leaked out yet?

Yep. Allegedly some of the same types of things that happened with Aiyuk. Disappearing, "rehabbing" elsewhere without proof, etc. not nearly as bad as Aiyuk tho since diggs actually has played this year

CONFIRMED: Former 49er QB BUST Trey Lance to start the final game for the Los Angeles Chargers in a showdown against the Denver Broncos. Game no longer means as much with the Bolts loss to the Texans last weekend. Plus Chargers QB Justin Herbert is hurting. Badly. One week off won't heal that busted left hand. The guy has been used and abused this season.

Watching Lance throw five picks against the Broncos should be rather entertaining.

He was never particularly good, just had some really good luck with INTs. QBs have a 140+ rating throwing at him over the last two seasons.

It could be worth taking a look at. Secondary can't be much worse then it currently is. It feels like we need to try something. Lenoir and Green on base downs, then switch Lenoir to Nickel and bring Diggs in? it wouldn't be good but it could be better then what be been doing.

Yeah I read he's allowing a 150-ish QB rating when targeted. So I don't think he'd help at all unless you're rolling the dice on new scheme/team = improvement (which is possible!)

Diggs was a boom-or-bust guy - gambling for a pick but when he missed it resulted in a big play.

If Green and Stout are both able to play, we will be just fine.

This team could use all the help they can get. We're one injury away in our secondary to going from an F unit to an F- unit. Cant take that chance…sign him !

With 424 snaps played this year, he ranks #80 among all CBs. That should fit well in an F- secondary.

It does put him above Chase Lucas, however.
