I have been saying this since the second we acquired him. He needs to be averaging 8-10 carries a game. Put him on the field for a few plays a game WITH Mccaffrey. Averaging 4.5 carries per game is going to hurt CMC in the long run.

B Rob ran hard but not going to take the starter out if the game is still in doubt. I will say for some reason B Rob gets a lot bigger holes to run thru than CMC and it's not because our line suddenly became good when he's in .The opposing D just keys in on CMC more than any back and we need to make them pay when Purdy, Pearsall and Brandon or back on the field.

I love CMC but at some point he is going to get hurt or just banged up tired. He is a weapon but is much slower in the hole than two years ago. Robinson is just under 5 yards per carry and should really be getting 10 to 12 runs a game. He very seldom gets stopped for no gain or losses yards.

Come on Down Brian Robinson. Looks like he will get his 1st start as a 49er. Also Guerrendo gots to seee some snaps im assuming

I don't think this is down to Shanahan. McCaffrey seems always very reluctant to come off the field.

Coach should overrule. Robinson isn't some slouch of a back. The only justifucation is that our O-line blocking isn't nearly as good as years past, Robinson is likely to do even less with the running "lanes" that are given than McCaffrey. With that said, I'd love to see 10-12 carries a game.

I think he is good enough to play in the slot but the benefit is flexing CMC out of the backfield and letting him put a move on someone. Good for 6 to 15 yards.

We were struggling to run the ball against the Seahawks. B-Rob comes in, runs for 6 yards on 1st down... then isn't really used much after.
Again I feel we should have BOTH B-Rob and CMC on the field at the same time at key moments.
