Absolutely insane that we didnt bring him back. For years (prior to last season), our special teams was among the worst in the NFL and actively lost us games. Last year we were one of the best, and this guy was a part of the reason why.

Stupid.

Apparently it's a $4.5M deal with a base of $2.5M, kinda wild we didn't resign him.

i know it's cause Kyle wants a guy who can contribute on offense, which makes sense in theory but he hasn't been able to pull that off in 8+ years - idk why they act like it's easy.

hopefully a young player can do it. This guy was good for us.

it's basically this, the WR room is crowded with Evans, Pearsall, Robinson, Cowing, Watkins, draft a rookie, they need a guy with speed, who can also play offense well. For now, my guess is Cowing is the return guy and either Watkins/rookie wr.

I get what you're saying but Kyle doesn't play all his WRs. Lol Watkins and cowing will probably play 2% of snaps. So what's the issue with cutting one and keeping Moore to just play ST. That's how I look at it but hopefully it shakes out well.
cowing not even gonna be here september. lol.

Gifford was a special teams pro bowler last year, so not too surprising
