I would have zero sympathy for Miami if they end up on the hook for Tua's guaranteed salary. He is/was such a ticking timebomb. Sure, someone else would have paid Tua to continue turning his brain into mush, but Miami is the one that actually did.

This is officially his third in the NFL but the last one was so bad it took over a month for him to clear protocol. He should definitely retire and enjoy his life
Didn't he have a game where he was basically unconscious, yet somehow passed the concussion protocol and went back in or something like that?
I seem to remember something pretty disturbing where someone should have pulled him.

While a full recovery is the only real focus here, in response to questions regarding Tua Tagovailoa's contract:

The deal includes $167M guaranteed for injury, $43M of which has been paid in 2024.
If he's medically cleared to return to football, but opts to retire, he will…

Those takes were done and over by mid-December 2022 when we went on a critical tear with Purdy to clinch the division.

True. But I've still seem those posts (not nearly as often) talking about what the Dolphins got from the Trey Lance trade. I don't think whoever creates those things understands those posts only work if the team becomes a juggernaut as a result.

It was crazy how inept Miami's passing game was last night. The play calling towards the end of he half was horrendous. They have one of the best receiving duos in the NFL and couldn't do squat. The Bills defense was missing their starting safety and LB too.

It's just a concussion man. He will be back in 2 weeks. Because of the prior ones they will hold him out 2 weeks. He's not going to retire. LOL. Come on. The over reaction from pundits. Wow. It didn't even look as severe as some of the prior ones. A mild concussion if there is such a thing.

Have you seen his concussions? It's not like the guy that gets a concussion and is dazed with a few little birds floating around his head.
Tua looks like he's having a damn seizure with his arms and hands doing all funky things.
Your post kind of reminds me of 'Not another teen movie' with the concussion scene

He should be ok. It didn't look that severe to be honest.

I disagree. The hit didnt seen severe but his actions afterwards most surely did.
