He somehow looks faster and more decisive than both our 3rd round RBs.
I think Sermon is gonna get cut. Sad for a 2nd year 3rd round pick.

I liked what I saw from him, no dancing side to side just power.

This. He better get that hard earned roster spot. I honestly like him more than TDP cause he can also catch the damn ball. He's #3 for me behind Mitchell and Wilson

Which is so mind boggling that we drafted that position so high. No more RBs until day 3 of the draft from now on. With so much success we've had with late picks and UDFA you would think this regime would be smarter than that.

My pet conspiracy theory is that Anthony Lynn was campaigning for TDP. Then again, Trey Sermon was drafted last year and Anthony Lynn wasn't here yet.

Their reaches have fallen from rounds 1 and 2 (Thomas, Pettis) to round 3. Better than 2017 but not quite where we need to be in terms to risky picks.

Mason had some really nice runs. He is the best down hill runner I have seen so far these 2 pre season games. But they still have Hasty fill in on pass downs even after they have inserted Mason. Hasty has good hands and is excellent at blitz pickup. I would like to see Mason get some reps in those situations.

Same. I read all through camp that he had the best hands of all of them

Gotcha! Maybe they don't want to put too much on film because they plan on stashing him away on the practice squad.

Remains to be seen if this kid is good enough to produce vs NFL starters and to be kept on the 53, Kyle would know.

the 9er preseason RB flash in the pan.
hope he does well and is a pro.

"they plan on stashing him away on the practice squad"
What, for all of a "New York Minute" !?
There's gotta' be a few RB needy teams, or a few teams wishing to upgrade that position
If Kyle tries to hide Mason on the PS, Pete Carroll will snatch him faster than he chews gum on game day
