Allen apparently was a reason why Kyle drafted Lance. He wanted a bigger guy who can run if needed with a strong arm. Kyle saw him up close 2 years ago when he owned us.

Yep. We'd be so dominant. Hopefully we keep the team together and Trey develops into a top 10 guy. We'll be in lots and lots of NFC Championship games if that happens.

Which what we are hoping Trey Lance turns into. But to me it's not really up to Trey. It's up to Kyle. Kyle needs to be 100% on board and commit to him fully. You can't have Trey run Jimmy's playbook. Keep pieces of it but it needs to evolve.

I feel like he'll be a generic version of Allen. Allen is bigger and stronger and a more natural passer. But Lance could still be one of the best in the league.
