"run the ball, limit mistakes, play defense"
how many teams have won a super bowl with this formula in the modern NFL?

Kicking a FG here is stupid. You are not making the playoffs, You got nothing to lose. Now you still need a TD.

How many decades do we get to go back to consider it modern lol? But seriously, you can get away with that with a good enough QB. Essentially the kind that can make key passes here and there. I'm not impressed by Fangio as a head coach, but I wouldn't place him at the top of the list in terms of the Broncos problems. If Elway fires Fangio, ownership should be dumping Elway next. Get the QB situation squared away and they will be competing for a playoff spot in 2022. Considering that Teddy Bridgewater (7-7 this year) is almost good enough himself for the Broncos to do that shows that the team isn't that far away from being a wildcard team.

That was over 20 years ago. Not a modern example.

he should air it with Drew Lock?
they were averaging 7 yards a run. They were averaging more yards/run attempt then Drew lock was averaging per pass attempt
