now we have two QBs seeing ghost.

Sam Darnold did this when he "saw ghosts" v NE

11-of-32 for a career-low 86 yards, was sacked once for a loss of 13 yards and tied a career-high with four interceptions

Trey Lance clearly improves the longer he plays

He's played well in the preseason games. Aside from his competition with Trey, there should be confidence in his reliability as backup.

He's not a stud QB1. He's a fringe starter/good QB2, with some potential upside.
