This is all should they be impressed with Trey. If they're not and have mentally moved forward from him....then what you hold is valid.

I don't buy any idea of being cautious with him from the perspective of the injury. When he's medically cleared he's ready to play. It's cut and dry in that aspect.

I do buy that he might not be medically cleared with enough time for the staff to feel he's had enough prep to comfortably start a game… which can result in the same thing from a practical standpoint.

The game film that Brock put down in 2022 is more than anything Lance can do during training camp or preseason. The team should be very patient with Brock - he's a young buck and has lots of time. Absolutely no need to rush him back.

After everything Purdy did last season, you actually think there is a QB competition between him and Trey? With reports that they like Darnold more than Trey?

Yea I think people are delusional if they think the team would be splitting up first team reps if Purdy were healthy. Extremely unlikely and makes little sense for us in terms of season prep.

Damn, I didn't realize that NDSU was on a 39 game win streak from 2017-2020. Wild. Lol so they were on a 23 game win streak when Lance became starter, still impressive to go 16-0 though.

He was on the Alabama of his division without playing the same competition. Was watching one of the youtubers(before 21 draft) breaking down Trey's film and he talked about how vanilla the defense's were he was playing against.

Yeah, no doubt. That's why I never understood why everyone drooled over his film. Every touchdown was wide open. It makes sense why he has struggled with accuracy inthe pros and was able to not throw a pick that year.

sounds like he is grinding rn on his accuracy, hopefully it pays off this camp

Another one of the usual suspects not following the conversation and changing the argument. Shocker.

You cant be serious. YOU started this whole thing by saying this:

Posters were openly rooting against Jimmy. They literally said those words lol stop it. "I want the Niners to win, but I also want Jimmy to suck so that we move on from him."

Then TreyDey called me and a few others out saying that myself and a few others were gloaty and happy that we lost, which you wholeheartedly agree with and posted a bunch of posts that didnt show a single person was happy we lost.

But its me thats not following and changing the argument

You and the others were absolutely gloating. Niners lose a heartbreaker in the NFCCG and the first thing y'all think to do is go in the Jimmy thread and say "I told you so?" Give it a rest, dude. You hated/hate Jimmy, that's fine. Just own it and stop hiding behind this nonsense. He's not even on the team anymore so stop being scared and just say how you really feel.

This entire post is baseless. I wasn't gloating. I was pissed. I don't hate players more than I love my team. And I don't hate Jimmy. I just don't think he is good and think having a good QB would have resulted in a ring at least once in the last few years. I'm not scared to say anything.

Gloating after losing a tough game in the NFCCG. It amazes me you actually believe that garbage.

Lol. Good luck. This been his shtick for a while. Then gets in uproar when you assume he's discussing race. You would think one would change what/how he's delivering it if MULTIPLE people is assuming the same thing.

But that says more about him than anything

Those that assume it do it from a place of feeling the kernels of truth. I've never suggested it. The narrative is anyone but Trey

You are guilty of the exact same thing you just have a different binky you bend over backwards excusing.

A better example to examine this would be to go back to last season when Jimmy was restructured and see reactions then.

Emotions weren't high after yet another devastating loss, and it was a move that was clearly smart for our team.

See what you want to see. I told you what it was.
The fact that you want to see more there is a guilty conscious talking.

Dont think anyone was against him coming back on the deal he restructured. People were just done with him being the starter. Turns out there was a better player in 2022 than both at 3rd string.

It was a bit more nuanced than that generally, but there were at least some people who did not like the move.

It's not my battle to fight anyway. Couldn't care less if fans hate on players or have negative views etc. It's just meaningless banter 99.9 percent of the time, and people root for teams differently. You won't see me questioning loyalty or gatekeeping. If you hate Jimmy G, so be it. If you're not a believer in Trey Lance, it is what it is. It's pro sports.

Lol. No. You completely changed it. Dude was saying that posters wanted us to lose vs. the Rams just so Jimmy would be gone. Which is b.s.

No he didn't. And that's why you're not quoting the entire discussion. As you normally do. You LOVE trying to get people to forget your crap posts.

What's amazing is you think EVERY fan roots for their team over individual players. And that no one roots against their team because of their hate of a player. That's about as naïve as it gets.

Perhaps you would find more enjoyment out of life if you didn't perpetually live as a victim.
