LOL. You all need a dictionary. Split means to break something into parts, and can include even splits or otherwise.
By the way, a split pot isn't always divided evenly ;)
In what situations is a pot not split evenly in poker?
Pretty sure it goes like this: Say you, me and SmokeyJoe are playing Texas Hold 'em, and the river was just put down. The pot is $500. SmokeyJoe bets $200. I call his bet and put down $200. However, you only have $100 left, but you still play and go all in. And by some miracle, we all have a Broadway straight, sharing an ace in the community cards. So we all win. How do you split the $1000 pot? You can only win back at most what you put in, so you get $100, while me and SmokeyJoe get to split the remaining $900.
