Hurts was just out there bombing away, missing a lot of easy throws, hitting on deep passes but struggling everywhere else. We saw his issues on full display against the 49ers last year. It wasn't until late last season when his accuracy showed a noticeable improvement. Eagles fans were ready to dump him in favor of drafting a QB high in the 1st, now they wouldn't trade him for anything.

TL to me is pretty conservative and not sure if he has much LR voice. Warner brought up his conservatism was saying he's too conservative in practice and you should be the opposite. Don't be afraid of prax INTs, that's the time to let it fly and test out what you can do. I believe the coaching staff said he needs to improve his LR voice. Stuff to hope for improvement on.

Hurts is balling like crazy and he looked borderline remedial as a passer early on despite having played at Bama and Oklahoma. It's way too early to write off Lance. The talent is undeniable, it's just a matter of consistency and that can't come without regular snaps.

Mahomes also didn't open in that level of rain.
I don't know what could've happened had he been healthy.
What I do know is the only way to have sustained success in the NFL is having an elite QB. Figure out if Lance is the guy and if he's not adjust accordingly.

I expected/hoped for a Hurts like 1st year and 2nd year trajectory from Trey, and still do next year. How many TDs should TL have had playing 5 quarters in a hurricane?
