So of the 49ers won the SB with Jimmy then regress to a losing team Kyle won't be judged for the regression?
Winning a SB is an extreme. My point is that regression after a qb change will be judged as poor by all.
The pressure to show improvement after a qb change is there.
1) Right now you are saying that winning a SB is an extreme,...yet a couple days ago, you said he has no excuse to not get to the SB this year. You suggested he's on the hot seat if he does not,...do I have that right? As you know, I can easily pull the quote up.
But which one is it? An extreme, or a fireable offense if it does not happen? You cannot claim both at the same time, can you?
2) You are a disgruntled fan that has his favorites (like Jimmy, but not Kyle, for example). You are going to "judge" either way as you see fit. The issue is that your judgement is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. The ownership of this team are the ones whose judgement will matter.
You suggest that they will be under immense pressure constantly on here, but you are not backing up your claim with ANYTHING tangible. You just keep repeating it over and over,....which suggests (inadvertently I'm sure) that you are part of the ownership group. (Woo York?)
Feel free @ any time though to say where this "have to", "last chance" pressure will be coming from and why. Map it out for us so we legitimately understand your POV, and can stop regarding it as tough talk with no substance.
I'll throw you a bone: A coach that gets to pick his own GM is allowed to blow through high draft picks so long as several years afterwards,
he is fielding one of the top 5 most talented teams in the league. This is a general claim I am making for discussion's sake, since you seem to disagree with this.
Can you please state why would disagree and attach substance to your reasoning? Thanks.
