I take these player quotes with a grain of salt because they're prompted by the media and they aren't going to say something negative about a teammate. That said, I wouldn't say Juice is "full of crap". He's been around Lance enough through the last few weeks on the practice field and inside the building to get a sense of where Lance is at in his development. It also isn't like what he said is contradictory to everything else we've heard from other players and coaches both prompted and unprompted.

It's a good sign that we have players who are on the same page... but like you said, THESE players are trained to say something positive 95% of the time whether it's true or not..

I mean, we event had FANS up in here who thought that someone will offer us a 2nd rounder for MULLENS!!

I choose to listen to Juice than 9moon. If Juice really thought Trey sucks, then trust me he would dance around the topic. It's been done too many times in too many interviews. He could say "You know i've been working with XY and Z and haven't seen him much." Something vanilla.

I think you want to dislike Trey because of the unknown factor. You need the money in your hand and not IOU's and promises it's coming next week. I get it. It's a not for long league. We all want closure on Trey one way or another, you're just extreme about it.

Fellas, we will be fine. Trey will be fine. The first couple of years, he will lean on the vets, and then, he will emerge as the leader of the team. Think about it like this, we have the privilege of watching him mature and grow before our very eyes. We can still win a title this way, I would remind you. Deebo, Aiyuk, and George will help him in ways we can't possibly imagine. And then one day, when they are gone or lesser versions of their prime, we will watch him takeover games.

Yeah, the player reports will be somewhat rosy when talking about other players. But at the same time they won't flat out lie.
