Im pretty sure WM doesn't have that ability. The site runs on an algorithm that picks up anything 49ers-related, it doesn't have the ability to filter the content. The webzone is pretty old far as websites go.

That and to keep it real; Cohn puts out the most content by far. Our media sucks when it comes to that. Especially JLC; her "articles" are essentially quotes of what people say. And now you have to pay or subscribe to read anything

Simple solution: close the tab if the author isn't one you like. If your loathing of Cohn is so strong you lose your stuff over giving a click, you may want to consider talking to your therapist.

EDIT: And just to put Cohn into context, Cohn has idiotic takes, but at least he doesn't make up whole stories like these national media people are doing about Trey. Suddenly posting stuff about LAST YEAR as if it's new information, about mysterious sources saying the 49ers are "continually underwhelmed" with Trey's "arm fitness," all to get clicks. Like it or not, Cohn is better than THAT shade of sports journalism.

Cohn can't write. His articles read like a 7th grade english paper. He makes up for a complete lack of talent by stirring the pot. I have zero respect for media who trash players for content. He's a professional troll, and why anyone consumes his BS is beyond me. He is THE bottom of the barrel in terms of sports journalism. At least the liars who report fake news for clicks can still write a professional sounding article.

Literally anyone can do what Grant does. The Zone has dozens of trolls with uneducated takes on the team that could produce the exact same content that Cohn does.

Fair enough. I don't see what the problem is.
Although I dont necessarily agree with his take on things, I enjoy reading his stuff. He has a little growing up to do IMO, but who at his age doesn't.
He doesn't hide behind a wall of anonimity and hurl insults at others. He explains his rationale for the conclusions he draws.
Besides, despite his disclaimers, he is a fan. More so than some posters here who pretend to be fans of the team, when in reality they are actually closet fans of a particular player whilst masquerading as 49er fans.
