Really loved the part where he said he's hearing from multiple sources but he's the only guy reporting this… doesn't pass the sniff test

No doubt. IMO it's hard to even assume what the kid is inconsistent about based off 2 games. That's all I'm saying.

His accuracy was inconsistent in college as well though.

Not really though. Completed 67% of his balls and didn't have a single TO. He wasn't throwing a bunch of screens either.

And other more reputable reports like Glazer and Trotter have basically stated the opposite. ML isn't good at his job. Giants fans didn't take him very serious, yet here are SF fans who don't even know the guy acting like he's Ian Rapoport lol.

Only the ones rooting for failure

Lbr for the posters that try use to the Lombardo report as some sort evidence they would believe a ham sandwich as long as it's crapping on Trey

Kinda pathetic actually. I'm all for having a healthy debate and bringing in sources, data, film etc but when that's your play…find anything negative about him regardless of the validity or track record of who's saying it….your creditably to be objective is gone and for me, I can't take anything you say serious going forward.

Even if true, he posted that tweet as if it's recent news (Trey underwhelming).
I heard reports that Quenton Nelson isn't strong enough to play in the NFL. What I heard is from 2005 from his flag football coach.
Found this "interpretation" of what Scangerallo really meant when he was on Cosell's podcast as he described draft eligible QBs -

Let's summarize what Scangerallo said he values:

1. A quarterback who faced heavy pressure in the pocket during college and wasn't a Pro Day wonder (i.e. not Lance. North Dakota State had terrific pass protection, and he had a phenomenal Pro Day).
2. A quarterback who elevated his program (i.e. not Lance. North Dakota State is the best program in the FCS. They compete for championships every year no matter who their quarterback is).
3. A quarterback who was a multi-year starter (i.e. not Lance. He started at North Dakota State in 2019, then played just one game in 2020 due to the pandemic, then he declared for the draft).
4. A quarterback who thrived in two-minute situations in college (i.e. not Lance. He famously had zero two-minute situations at North Dakota State).
5. A quarterback such as Mac Jones or Kenny Pickett (i.e. Not Lance).

It seems clear that when Scangarello talked about highly-drafted quarterbacks who fail, he was describing Lance. And if Scangarello truly believes Lance will be a bust, then the 49ers needed to get rid of Scangarello and replace him with someone who thinks Lance can be great.
It's too bad the 49ers wasted the first year of Lance's development under Scangarello's pessimistic watch.

*** These are not my thoughts or what I believe to be true about T. Lance.

Funny he'd be in on Mac Jones because Mac doesn't meet 1-4 either.

Excellent point
I still feel we should have gone with Lance from week 1 and just go through the growing pains. But that's water under the bridge now. He'll have some growing pains this year (as it's essentially his rookie year). Hopefully we can have an easier start to the season, and not a 4 game losing streak.

I won't listen to anything negative about Lance. What's the point? I'm not putting blinders on, but we have one life to be a fan. Why listen to that baseless nonsense?

It's easy to say in retrospect as we didn't win the championship, but we were on the doorstep and I think his need to grow into the position would have lessened our chances to even make the playoffs. I'm stoked to watch him grow this year and my expectations for team success are not as high, but I think sky is the limit after this season.
