I have no problem with it as long as people don't go overboard. I expect a lot more splash plays but our fair share of growing pains. The thing is that the bar isn't stupid high here for QB play. Good starter is and has been enough to make us a contender. Good starter who can make the big play once in a while to save the game? That gets this team a Lombardi. We don't need the kid to be Mahommes/ Allen right out the gate in order to win games.

Jimmy was on the team for 2 1/2 years and had less than 2 playing seasons when a portion of the fan base wanted him out after the SB.

so according to that timeline, Trey has a season and half left to prove himself, according to those same people.
