I always knew he wasn't even worthy of being a starter in this league. He has great wrs and a great offense surrounding him. Still can't even be a serviceable Qb

Put the Panthers on the list of potential Garoppolo offseason trade partners. They will be desperate for a QB. Darnold tossed one of the worst pick 6's I've ever witnessed.

So Darnold is done for 2021...possibly his career as a starter as well?

Unfortunately for them they picked up his fifth year option(19 mil) which is fully guaranteed.

I was going to mention this. Yeah we could've saved our 1sts and gotten Darnold. Long NFL season.

All the more reason to do it. IF they aren't sold on the rookie QB class. The team appears like they can make some noise with adequate QB play.
