Loved watching Wilson, not the end of the world for me. Fields/lance is just as good (if not better).

Less injury risk too, I always have Wilson's shoulder issue floating around in my brain

Yeah I forgot about that....I still would love to have him, I'm just as high on Fields/Lance the more I watch those two though

Drew Brees is flabbergasted

How can you be high on everyone (except jones) when historical data will tell you that most 1st round qbs don't pan out. I mean look at this nasty 2009 through 2016 list

2009: Stafford, Lions; Mark Sanchez, Jets; Josh Freeman, Buccaneers.

2010: Sam Bradford, Rams; Tim Tebow, Broncos.

2011: Cam Newton, Panthers; Jake Locker, Titans; Blaine Gabbert, Jaguars; Christian Ponder, Vikings.

2012: Andrew Luck, Colts; Robert Griffin III, Washington; Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins; Brandon Weeden, Browns.

2013: EJ Manuel, Bills.

2014: Blake Bortles, Jaguars; Johnny Manziel, Browns; Teddy Bridgewater, Vikings.

2015: Jameis Winston, Buccaneers; Marcus Mariota, Titans.

2016: Goff, Rams; Wentz, Eagles; Paxton Lynch, Broncos.

Who are you high on?

From what I see Jones is the consensus bottom of this loaded first round class isn't he? Jones the isn't bad, he's just not the other 4.
So Steve Young says the 49ers wanted Wilson. That means they would have traded additional player like Warner or additional 1st or 2nd rounder to get him because they obviously feel one of Jones, Lance, or Fields is worth what they gave up.

That list is terrifying. But I also think a good deal of attention is not paid to the fact that 1st round QB's almost always go to the worst teams and typically only given a couple years to prove themselves. I think the Eli Manning strategy is completely under used.

Could be, but it was stated we never even spoke to the Jets because I believe Kyle knows they are going Wilson and no offer would change their minds. I mean if the roles were reversed would you listen to any offers for Wilson? I wouldn't.

But yes that means Kyle likes other guys as well. I just hope it's not Jones

I just don't believe the Jets ever wanted to trade out of 2.
Jets WILL ruin him

Exactly. I think Wilson on the Jets becomes a bust. Wilson in SF becomes a superstar. The Jets aren't ready for a rookie QB

He won't be in SF. The Jets have two picks in the first round #2 and #23. They will take Wilson #2.

It's called speculation. We all assume he will be a Jet but nobody knows that for sure except for MAYBE the Jets.
