Why? Give me one good reason. JJ simply is not the player he once was. Any contract he signs with the 49ers comes loaded with BA like attitude. Why do it?

Do this selfless and plays his ass off no matter what. He always has shown up. He's one guy I would never be upset with paying

I think the Niners would bring him back if he lowered his asking price to something reasonable. And I don't mean vet Min or like a 1 year deal worth $8 Million. Just something that is not #1 WR money.

We have 20M in extra cap space now I'm all for bringing him back at a good price for both sides
this would mean a lot of us will be disappointed as we all have our WR draft crushes but this is a sure thing and we will have a strong WR group and we can focus on bigger needs in draft

He broke as many bones as Evil Knievel in one season

He played hurt all year and still got 700+ yards
I hope he and FO come to an agreement to keep him around...

Even if we brought him back I would still draft a WR. I am in the belief that you should draft atleast one WR every year. Especially with the going rate for even average WR's in this era.

Or he realizes he can make a little more money but continue to lose every week.
