Seems fair right now, but what's wild is that wasn't the number 15 million this offseason? We gotta start buying early lol. Yep we can survive with that considering we also have Kittle, CMC, and Tonges as very good Receiving threats.

We won't even uses Tonges when Kittle is healthy. But yes, he is a very good receiving threat. I'll be good either way with what the team does, but I look at Jennings as someone who brings more than just the receiving yards to the table.

He's a 2 and is better than Bourne. Most teams do not have two receivers better than Jennings. If he were a free agent, he's getting signed immediately- the same cannot be said for Bourne and you certainly couldn't sign him for 5 million a year or whatever Bourne got. I like the things JJ brings besides simply catching the ball. The guy has consistently been clutch throughout his entire career. It also would be nice to go into next year with two clear starters. It also means we can hold off until day 3 to draft a receiver. The yards are replaceable. The other things are not.

A lot of playoff quality teams have two receiving threats better than JJ. Even on our team he's after CMC, Kittle, and maybe even Pearsall when he's healthy. Not to mention Aiyuk.

If he's a team's real number 2 like Aiyuk and Deebo were (depending on the year) then that team would struggle. Like I said, no coverages ever roll his way, not even on 3rd down. No DL are pealing off their rushes to bracket him in short passing situations. He never goes against the leagues top corners.

According to Jonnydel our QBs have thrown 8 or 9 picks targeting him so I wouldn't be surprised if the team let him walk.

As much as I like him, we could change our personnel groupings a bit like the Rams did and replace him with Tonges

A lot of playoff quality teams don't as well. Jacksonville, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, New England, Denver, etc. It seems moreso in the NFC (Seattle, Rams, Chicago, Philly, and Green Bay).

Also I meant WR #2, not our literal 2nd option. We have two future Hall of Famers in Kittle and CMC, but Jennings is a valuable playmaker. Not 20 million a year, but definitely valuable. If he can be had for closer to 10 million APY, they will do it. If not, take the comp pick and hope they don't do something stupid with it.

JJ made this same play in the super bowl.

Man I know they probably can't pay him what he's going to be worth but I really hope they get an deal done with him in the off season.

i am curious why he switched to WR in college.

Other guys might be more talented but Jauan forever has that dog inside him.

I swear it's the fastest he's looked his entire career on that slant he caught.

He needs to run like that all the time.
