He will get a lot more reps now. Especially if we deal Aiyuk. I really wish he didn't get himself thrown out of the last game. Because he would have had above 1,000 + yards and maybe one more TD if he got one. It would have been roughly on par with an Aiyuk year. Believe it or not. He has that much ability. He has it all. Just not straight line speed. Every other category that is required for a WR he has in abundance.

For the time being he is and Jennings is going to get about half a season to show if he can still be that guy. If he can average 60 + yards per game before Aiyuk returns, I'd extend him in season. They could also be proactive and just do it. I think Jennings could replace Deebo's receiving production of pretty much any year save for 2021. Plus he can be a Dre Greenlaw like tonesetter in that receiving room. Jennings, Pearsall, and Aiyuk all bring different types of dog elements to the offense. Going to be great to watch the young guys grow.

J1 and Rick should be the starter next year.. 1 and 2.. or 2 and 1... then we bring in Lil Train Cowing when we spread the field !!

I won't be shocked if we bring in another vet free agent WR to compliment Jennings and Pearsall while Aiyuk still rehabs. Not a big contract guy, but a solid consistent guy that could be reliable with more playtime like Jennings has become.

I wouldn't mind it. Just not interested in any real money. I'd rather they draft another guy on day 3. Maybe bring in some UDFAs.

It's his turn, hope he makes the most of it until BA gets back.
