This guy's probably our best route runner. He has some ridiculous footwork and can juke a defender one on one in space.

His numbers were great for a number 3. The problem was he was drafted 10th overall.

I think he fact he was 10th overall pick is why he got a bad rap. 10th pick you expect more than a #3

Stokes would have been perfectly fine had he been a 2nd or 3rd rounder, instead the 49ers used two 1st round picks to move up for him with the second pick turning into Ray Lewis. That's a heck of a lot to give up for a guy that was a so-so #2 WR at best.
Besides Lewis, the 49ers also passed up on the possibility of drafting Lawyer Milloy, Mike Alstott and Muhsin Muhammad,
