Are pre season trades final?

I was thinking about how bad the Texans/cards trade was and wondered... could they back out of the deal since the new season hasn't actually started or are all agreements final at this stage?

As long as it's not confirmed, of course. But that's unlikely. Teams want to continue to deal with each other. So, dumping the Cards for a better deal would compromise the creditability of the Texans.

I think this is one of those times where everyone would understand if they came to their senses. That franchise is about to roll into a ditch.

The only way that trade doesn't go through if the texans fire O Brien. Otherwise, nobody is ever gonna do deals with thr Texans again if they just say, nvm we got a better offer.
