Point he's making is that you need to have a bunch of elite WRs to be a successful team. Brady was the main reason they won, not Godwin or whatever other WR. QB/Defense/HC>>>>WRs.

I agree but Tom also was taking pay cuts cause he wanted weapons so his job got easier. The greatest QB of all time wanted better receivers but we are gonna dump our best receiver for Lances first year?

He's the main and #1 reason why the 9ers didn't make the SB and could have won it this past season. The reason why it was a harder road just to get to the NFCC championship. Why the 9er loss the SB few years ago. And why they don't have the money yet to pay deebo. Even Jimmy G himself knows it LOL!!!! Same reason why Tyreek and Davante left KC AND GB, their QB is hogging all the money, greed, that is the status of the NFL today.

I'm not gonna believe anything until there's some actual movement on either side. I'm sure the truth will come out if he gets traded and if he's resigned it will all be forgotten and understood it was a negotiating tactic. Some old school people might be upset but this is the new age of doing business.

i think we just have to set tight and pardon the jimmy phrase. wait for the draft domino to fall. if the draft comes and goes and deebo is here. that means he will eventually be signed long term. good god. the team gave bums like hurd and long leash and of course we see how much the jimmy thing is playing out.. deebo is better than those two put together so the team needs to give this time and get it done

they paid kittle a bunch who can not play a whole season, we saw what they did with dee ford. and of course 29 million bucks tied up in back up quarterbacks. so one would assume the team has no issue spending money.. how about spending it on someone who is actually elite and is a difference maker for us
