I've been wondering lately if at some point ( not necessarily this game) we consider giving Deebo the ball on a direct snap, as it would give him the ball a couple seconds before he'd get it on a pass or hand off.

Take off the homer goggles. I mean the sideline cam was at the first down marker and his knee is clearly down prior to reaching the sticks. I had no problem with this call and didn't even consider it as a possible bad call until I read your posts.

I've never seen them reverse a spotting call that was within a few inches of the original mark.

If Kyle in that SB realized then what he does now about what Deebo is capable of in the run game, We don't lose that game.Even in that game Deebo had 3 jet sweeps and Chiefs defense couldn't stop any of them but Kyle just stopped giving him the ball. This version of Deebo would have gotten 10-12 carries in that game.

Imagine what Kyle can do with Trey *and* Deebo next year, and (possibly) in this Divisional game if Jimmy needs a rest.
