Looks like a 5th is all we were going to get as other teams interested could have offered a higher draft pick but did not.
Seems to me like Deebo was regressing anyways.

National is always a season to two behind on any player that ever hits superstar status, especially west coast players. They're thinking of the Deebo of 2021 that still flashed in 2022 and 2023 such as the Eagles primetime game.

Lombardi is the worst. He's such a dweeb and tries his hardest to make everything look like the 49ers hit a homerun in whatever decision they made.
This. Dude's an arrogant child. Picks on fans who disagree with him. He's the homer version of Grant Cohn.

Vegas still has the 49'ers favored over Washington to win the Super Bowl.
This trade did nothing to change the odds for both SF and Wash.

So true. I've heard him call fans idiotic and worse, and screams "I told you so" every time he gets something remotely right. I don't know how anyone can stand him.

I'm going to guess he just hits the 1k receiving mark with 200 rushing and 6TDs total next season after that he'll hit 800yds the next couple of seasons and be washed to a 3rd stringer

This was their biggest statistical weakness. They were obviously going to address it as part of the financial recalibration this offseason

Aiyuk
That Kid Rick
3rd and Jauan
And we are still developing Cowing. And we still have George freaking Kittle at TE.
We don't need to look to invest a first or second round pick at the WR spot this year.
Aiyuk not back until Thanksgiving probably and it is a complete unknown if he will be the same player. Essentially cannot count on anything from Aiyuk this year.
Pearsall
Jennings
Cowing
at WR is not good enough. If we can trade back a few spots in the 1st to 14-16 would have no problems taking Burden III an extra 3rd to go trenches with as he is the last of the three elite WRs in the whole draft.
But we met with WRs Tre Harris (2nd round), Jayden Higgens/Savion Williams (3rd round), Ricky White (4th round), Antwane Wells Jr (6th/7th round) - so it appears we would not go WR in the 1st round which is fine too.
I prefer Grant/Campbell in a trade back in the 1st but we have so many needs that we just get the best player and not force a position.
Definitely do not need a 1st round WR
, but yes another receiver is needed. I actually like our group, but it's more potential than actual known commodities. I expect us to take one, maybe even two- both on day 3.

He takes up $31m worth of space. It is not real money. He's not actually owed anything.
The space he takes up this year can easily be handled with basic extensions and restructures.
What do you mean it's not real money? Pretty sure it's real money to the yorks

That would have been great, I imagine it had to do with the 9ers not willing to pay what Allen wants cause it really is a no brainer for both sides
Yeah, I would have liked to pick up Jonathan Allen, but not at a 16.4 million cap hit. If the Commanders ultimately cut him, perhaps he would be an option then.
