Safe to say Dwelley is a keeper, like I said, re-sign him to a 1yr $920K deal in 2021, have him Kittle, Woerner, and Reed if he wants to return, that's a nice TE group to have IMO. And Dwelley has really developed into a nice player, good blocker, good pass catcher, and versatile, as he played TE, and filled in for Juice at FB in 2019, and did a darn good job IMO.

Agree. That is one heck of a TE group. I hope our 4 minute offense can take the place of a missing bosa to close out games. If we can't sign dwelley, I hope we can get some draft compensation for him like Brieda and Goodwin.

Agreed on everything, but I think Dwelley would re-sign, even if it's say a 3yr deal worth $3M a yr, he's hardly made much after 3 years in the league.

Cohn says he has the best hands on the team. I'd give him a few mil just to keep him away from seattle or arizona.

That's what he was known for here at University of San Diego Torrero's. Throw it in the dirt he will go down and get it. Throw it behind or in front of him and he will adjust to it. Throw it high and he will jump and get it. He will also muscle other players for the ball. Watching him over the years it was hard to throw a ball he won't catch. Usually if you throw the ball in his general area he will adjust and make the catch. He's like a vacuum cleaner. Those guys are always valuable on a team.

Looks like a little bit of Kittle is rubbing off on him.

I believe he being less physical than Kittle makes him look SMOOTHER.. !!!

Looks like he has taken lessons from GK. Reckon he is a medium term keeper.

Stepped in for Juice last season and did well, so is versatile enough to plug holes in lineup when necessary.

Kittle plays like a lunatic at times which means he is likely to get banged up each yr, so is good to have an almost kittle to drop in as needed.

K.I.T.T. is more like Shannon Sharpe.. he needs to be fed and will always be productive..

DWELLEY is more like Jason Witten... very reserve, but at the end of the day, you'll see him with 7 catches for 140 yards ... it's good enough that he's the type that wont get the recognition but until the end of the game !!

I can't believe it, I actually agree with 9moon for once, anyway, good points moon, solid all around, right on mark, Kittle is always gonna be a 1000 yard TE, whiile Dwelley won't get the publicity Kittle gets, but will make plays when called upon.

" YAH LOVE TO HATE ME !! "

I like him a lot. Had some key plays last year as well
That one game after George got hurt, Dwelley came in and was money on two 3rd down and "must have it".. he caught both, the second one being short of 1st down marker, and fought for the extra needed yard. He also blocked like a mutha for the RBs and overall just played like he had been starting all along. Alongside Kittle, he will be damaging.

But that one game told me all i needed to see. Given the opportunity, he took the reins and ran. Dwelley with more minutes is going to be a fierce guy to complement Kittle.

I know everyone (like I was too) was stoked by Reed joining the team, but I really believe Dwelley needs more looks opposite Kittle.

I agree. I believe Reed's out longer than Kittle, so hopefully he gets them.

Woerner was supposed to be a good blocker, so far I haven't seen it. Dwelley has shown to be a good receiving threat. Dwelley should be the guy to get more snaps with Reed out.
Took him for 1st TD tonight, wish me luck lol I think him and Reed will be on the field a lot together.
He looked really good today.

Bump. More people gotta see this.

Dwelly has really grown on me. I didn't think he was that good. Now I think he might be one of the best backup TEs in the NFL.
