AGree. He wasn't even a starter for us, as far as I can recall. He's a decent player, not an all pro, that's why they risked the waiver. Personally, if ShanaLynch was more confident in the DB's, they'd have locked more of them into multi year contracts. As it is right now, almost all of them are free agents next year. That tells me they aren't convinced they have DB's that are sure fire lock down cant miss starter level players there. Hope that changes next year.

They could always wave/injured him as well, put him on the in-season IR with plans to activate him later (which means he has to make the initial 53), or stash him on the 4-player no rules PS this year, right?

i don't think it works that way with waivers. FA possibly those scenarios work
