Can't defend the Malcolm Smith move all that much, but how do a bunch of injuries cost them their jobs?

You can also add piere garcon to that list. As well as the poor drafts. It's so bad

Garcon, again was a bad injury, a freak one, he ws good for the first 8 games, then never the same.

Bad drafts? Ok 2017 wasn't great but he got Kittle, a stud TE, also solid players like Witherspoon whether you agree or not, Solly has a chance to improve. Taylor as well. DJ Jones was a solid pick, could be the NT for us, 2018 look good, McGlinchey, Pettis, Warner, and Moore should be starters, Reed is solid, unfortunate about Street. James should be our KR, and 2019 looks good with Deebo and Hurd flashing, plus Wish looks great at Punter, and Greenlaw was a huge surprise.

it was a bad signing from the get go... injury or no injury.

MONEY WASTED !!!

Sure he was overpaid, but only time will tell if he was a waste signing.

If its so good why don't they win more? So ten wins should be easy this year with all that talent, right?

Sh!tton of money thrown away over the years on scrubs like AA, Ward, M.Smith, Garcon, Garnett, Mabin, Gilliam, Coleman...endless list here. Nobody talks about that but with a few better business moves, this team would have a gazillion dollars in cap space vs. being in the red next year. Lots of dead money.

even Garcon was a bad signing... another waste of money on that guy..
Signing a RB who never averaged more than 4 YPC, who only had 14 starts in his career, and who got paid as the 4th highest paid RB was always a terrible idea. I guess I can see the appeal in the passing game, but other than that, this was a bad signing to begin with.

The ACL injury and inability to recover from it is just the cherry on top.

It's shocking considering we hired a GM and HC with tons of GM and HC experience.....

And if bosa continues on his road of injury proneness I don't know how anyone can keep defending these dudes.

NC, as the ultimate defender of Trent Baalke, your point of view here is wacky.

We have not hired an experienced NFL HC or GM since Erickson.

Paraag's formula of no retread definitely in effect.
It seems like hes gonna go on I.R. and come back later this season. But will he even be healthy by then? Will he be the same player he use to be? So many question marks and high hopes of getting the RB Minnesota had it's a 50/50 chance they do but sadly so much money spent for high hopes and as of now nothing to show for it.

SF currently has $2.8M in dead money extra yr as well (that's not anything).
