Sure, he'll yes bc signing another "starter" like fuller or Melvin wouldn't work for those cbs they want to start and be paid as such. So we have to sign this type of player. Plus he knows the system so well and can sub for Sherman or Witherspoon

Sure, but we need someone healthy too. Sherman and Shead could be healthy and make Lynch look like a genius. If they're still banged up we'll be in a hurt locker.
Shead was a nice starter in Seattle, so there's a lot to like. He has the scheme down and not fits his style. On the flip side, it's been a while since he played some meaningful football. It's a risky move, but it's a good investment.
I think it'll still require another guy to be brought in.

He knows the scheme, can play ALL the positions, and Sherman is here. Unless he gets a chance to start somewhere else, he'll end up here.
