There is a long history of ex-49ers going to Kansas City and continuing their interest as a second team. With Alex Smith now in Washington, assuming he signs the contract come March, let's put KC comments here. I'll start by saying KC struck a huge blow for improving their team with the Smith trade: The key to the deal was Kendall Fuller. He fills the biggest need KC had: CB. By the end of this past season, Reid had a choice of ex-49er Kenneth Acker or a washed-up Darrelle Revis at corner. Both were responsible for plays that led to losses. This is brilliant for KC. A secondary weakness becomes a strength, they get out of salary cap hell, and they get a 3rd round draft pick this year. Arizona had no way to match this deal in value to KC. A three-way win for KC. Of course the key will be whether or not Patrick Mahomes can play well on a consistent basis. With only one league game behind him, he will have a heavy load on his shoulders starting the new season.

Defense has definitely improved though. Chiefs offense is also helping them out now since they finally have a running game and are putting together longer drives bc of it.

Thankfully they don't have that good receiving weapons outside Kelce who's now also starting to show his age a bit. Rice kid is pretty decent though. If Hill was still on this team or if they had another great WR, Chiefs would be scary as hell this season.

I agree, that's the issue they are working thru, trying to figure out who can make plays in the pass game outside of Kelce. Just added back Hardman. I do think with the coaching of Reid, and the QB play of Mahomes, as we go forward, they'll have more chemistry week to week with these receivers. I think you are correct on Rice, he may be a guy. Toney always impresses me athletically but he never seems to put it all together, or hasn't yet.

Like you said before. Taylor Swift was already unbelievably popular even way before recently, you'd have to either been living under a rock, or didnt know/talk to alot of women to think otherwise . Is she more popular "now"? Ehh sure I guess? But she's been a megastar for quite some time now, at least the last 13 or so years
