Not too worried about losing Peters. Good luck in that hell hole that is Washington. This new guy seems like a total cuck that owns them now. This must mean that Lynch is staying around for good and that's exactly what I want. No more testing the announcing waters. It gives us another familiar GM as a trading partner for the draft/pro prospects. Wonder who they will be looking to hire as a HC? I would guess Peters goes with an offensive mind like Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik.

how is this not censored...but s**t sh1t is? .... strange language filter system

Why would they censor cuck. I think he was trying to say the guy is a kook.

Yep, I love NC and all, but it's as if he thinks we're the only team that misses on early round picks. I don't get it, cause if you look at other teams, ppl call Belichick a genius, yet he failed on so many 1st-3rd rd picks, yet somehow gets a pass cause he's Bill Belichick. Lynch, & Shanahan, along with Peters, Carthon, Mayhew helped build this team to be a juggernaut.

Also on the draft thing, ppl don't realize it but the majority of picks don't see it pass year 3 of their rookie deals, the draft is a huge crapshoot.

He thinks Ryan Pace was better. Devoted a whole thread to the concept.

What other team has drafted an all pro level guy in every draft from 2017-2022. But we need balance focusing on the misses? GTFOH.

Let's be objective guys…but now I'm going to list all of the failed picks and attribute them to lynch . Also notice how he still can't say this is the most talented roster, instead he always will say deepest or one of the deeprest, just another subtle dig because they don't adhere to his team building approach

If McDaniel is truly on the hot seat, and the Chiefs beat the Dolphins like I think they will, McDaniel will be the next head coach of the Commanders. That's my prediction.

Lynch has so many connections. He can replace Peter with someone of the same pedigree if not better. Also, majority of the works in the draft system is done by the scouts so as long as Lynch and Shanahan keep their best scouts out there and do their diligence in filtering and vetting their draft picks, we'll be a'ight. Wait, why don't we get that guy Cunningham as Peter's replacement, if no one picks him up.

The appeal of the job has to be enormous for talented personnel execs and scouts that aspire to eventually become GMs.
I wonder really how much Peters was responsible to the later round picks. I've heard the whole spectrum as they were all his picks to it was all the assistants influence that made Peters and staff to make these picks.

I don't know if we will ever know since we are not in the building. However it happened, it is freaking amazing the turn around since Shanahan and Lynch got here in the talent level on this team. We should get number 6 this year or next, maybe even both years

Lmfao. Uh, McDaniels seat is as cool as a cucumber.

Seriously, where do people come up with this s**t?

Facts. I said this earlier. If you want to move up in anything, this is the place to be. We currently have 3 guys sitting as GMs that came through here. If Lynch comes calling you, you're answering.

Ran Carthon gave some insight into the process. I see this all as a collaboration.

Too much towing the company line of the #1 seed best team in the NFC.

Perhaps we can have a Commanders vs 9ers building thread.
What a TRADER.

More than anything, they want someone that has for years been "behind the scenes" of whatever the hell we are doing.

Don't get overly caught up in who's really responsible for what.
He should trade up for Chicago's number 1 pick and get their FQB. Bob Slowik/Ben Johnson type HC. Hire Mike Vrabel as DC or Brandon Staley or whoever. Beat the Cowboys down every year.

Yeah I was thinking that as well, which is why our top candidate is internal. IMO Our scouting from the whole process and all involved has been great, if we look at the team we have assembled. There also Lynch and others getting outside help at a great price. We will probably always get raided in the off-season until we are not. When we are not it's probably because we are just not that good anymore.

He's with the Titans right now? We could probably get him back soon lol.
Has Peters said anything ?
