And what they failed to mention is that many of those games where Jimmy was out they were also missing Bosa, Deebo, and Kittle for many of those.

I happen to think JG did well here, cuz he did. He's older and has lost it, that happens sometimes, like in DEN. I argued he should be a backup at this point in his career during the last offseason. Raiders should have kept Carr, and once they moved off, they should have brought Stidham back, Raider Nation would agree with all that.

He did well here because of his coach making him look way better than he actually is. I don't blame Jimmy for the contract I blame the brain trust. They missed. Difference is you can't say it was a miss. You want to believe it was a hit because Kyle made the guy a serviceable NFL QB. He didn't earn his money here and he certainly isn't earning his even less money now.

It was Kyle just like Matt Schaub and RG3. Just like Matt Ryan being an MVP. Kyle can make guys look better and he clearly did for Jimmy.

He's not washed now because of injury it's because he doesn't have Kyle. Kyle got the most out of him he could.

Will he be smiling on the bench the rest of the season?

Kyle makes qbs successful. Their individual talents are what determine how successful. But it's always been Kyle.

He just needs to have the patience with Brock to really see what he has. Gotta be OK with the ups and downs of a young guy.
