But if you don't admit that Jimmy was not that good, and that he was propped up by KS, then clearly I cannot take much of what you say seriously, since the facts are bearing out this season that KS did indeed elevate Jimmy.

More like welcome to 2023, guys get old
Since the injuries he's a statue back there. He was never hugely mobile. But prior to the major leg injury he was more mobile than this. He looks like the Statue of Liberty out there. Man he's just toast if the pass rush can get to him. It's difficult for him to create off schedule.

Raiders are a mess regardless.

Devante wanted to go there so...

Jimmy might as well go back with Bellicheck.

Davante chose to bless a trash team with his talents because he wanted to play with one of his good friends. Then the Raiders GM/coach scapegoated his good friend, dumped him, and then replaced him with a below average to bad QB. I feel bad for Davante. He didnt deserve this.

Yup, that's the McD way, just ask Bronco fans. Alienated both his QB and star WR there as well. Once LV cut Carr for zilch, they effectively lost Davante's buy in, unless Rodgers was walking thru that door..

Which was a mistake. Faithful is such a Jimmy homer he won't call it that but yet wants Kyle to be accountable for Jimmys and the other qbs not becoming elite. It's an amazing slight of hand from him and the others that made this thread unbearable with their Jimmy bs.

We paid elite money and didn't get near that in return. There is no way to spin that as a positive. The fact that we got any return is a credit to Kyle the coach.

lol, another fail post

don't hate the player, hate the decision from the org. if you don't like us paying all that to JG, don't blame JG, he's gonna accept the contract, blame us for offering it
same with Trey, he's a complete bust, but I don't blame Trey for that, he didn't draft himself

I happen to think JG did well here, cuz he did. He's older and has lost it, that happens sometimes, like in DEN. I argued he should be a backup at this point in his career during the last offseason. Raiders should have kept Carr, and once they moved off, they should have brought Stidham back, Raider Nation would agree with all that.

He's so much older... yet last season was arguably his best season.

Make it make sense.

and the fail posts continue, 2017, 2019, 2021 all better than 2022
best was 2017, a lil alarming he didn't improve or develop his entire SF tenure

ppl didn't know what they were watching in 2022, JG didn't get better, the team around him may have..
JG was better in 17 and 19, imo

I said arguably, which is true because 2022 was Jimmy's best statistical season, best TD to Int ratio and best passer rating.

Sayngs he's too old now is a cop out. Or Jimmyexcuses you would call it.

You expected Jimmy to be traded for at least a second round pick, possibly a first, then several months later you claim he's not worthy of being a starter. Not because of his play, mind you, but because of his injury history.

Yet Jimmy on the field this year has been awful, you can't blame the weapons or the handcuffs that is Kyle's scheme, yet of course you blame the fact he's one year older and his injuries that he's played with worse at times and had success throughout his career.

Instead of owning up to your mistakes, you continue to dodge and weave any and all legit criticism. And at the same time you're constantly calling out others for their mistakes. Hypocrisy to a T.

I've admitted to many mistakes on this forum, and I've yet to see you own up to one.

cop out lol, what he's supposed to be good til he's 45? he ain't TB12, and he's got scars all over from his time with us

Russ is completely washed at what 34 (and really he was last year, at 33), JG is a very old 31/32, surg ages you pretty quick when you stack a bunch of surg, foot, knee, shoulder, you name it, I mean he was just taken to the hospital for a back, this is a pretty broken down old dude at this stage, he started the year on hole 16 now he's on hole 18

I've ate plenty of crow, I was a Sermon believer, I'll eat crow if Wilks doesn't get this turned also

Yeah I think TB12 altered ppls mindset, they think guys can play til 40, that's not really the case. Russ went from cooking to cooked, he's mid 30s. JG is 32 tomorrow. And as I have said plenty a very old 32. He's underwent the knife a bunch, fans may not appreciate that, but it takes a toll, guys sometimes have health issues for life, from their time playing ball. I don't think from a health standpoint, he's a QB1, I said that all offseason, and it's what we are seeing here. Dude is cooked physically. Now if he wants to backup a guy like Stafford and play a few games a year, that was my landing spot for JG, incidentally, Stafford now injured.

Lol right, 31 is still very much a QBs prime. Alex Smith had his best season at 33 years old. I could go on and on. They excuses are insane.

Ryan Fitzpatrick
Drew Brees
Peyton Manning
Phillip Rivers

so many examples. Horrible argument.
