QB wins blah blah blah. Anyone who was even a little objective knew Jimmy was never it and kyle & the team around him made him serviceable for years. He's about to get benched, leads the league in INT and STILL is getting injured (so much for the scheme getting him hurt theory )

dude should be kissing Kyle's ass for making him what will be almost $200 MILLION lol.

In the end Jimmy will just be Matt Cassel 2.0

Andy Dalton 2.0. Won a bunch of games on the back of coaching/team around him. Doesn't have the skill set to elevate everyone. Locker room good guy

he will be a backup/bridge QB the rest of his career.

Mac Jones is right there following behind him.

Lol McCorkle. Plays like Jimmy and is a p***y ass b***h. At least Jimmy was a good dude

Most QBs end up as backups eventually. Some just sooner than others. The NFL teams keep drafting QBs with minimal experience in college hoping that they'll turn out great. Most don't.

He's lucky the Niners gave him a big contract after 5 games.

Which was a mistake. Faithful is such a Jimmy homer he won't call it that but yet wants Kyle to be accountable for Jimmys and the other qbs not becoming elite. It's an amazing slight of hand from him and the others that made this thread unbearable with their Jimmy bs.

We paid elite money and didn't get near that in return. There is no way to spin that as a positive. The fact that we got any return is a credit to Kyle the coach.

I thought the stuff Jimmy said about the 49ers was something anyone who watched the situation unfold would say. Honestly, I've never seen a situation at QB like the one we had.

I thought, then, he handled it pretty diplomatically, actually.

Jimmy is the example of how good Kyle is at coaching offense.

lol, another fail post

don't hate the player, hate the decision from the org. if you don't like us paying all that to JG, don't blame JG, he's gonna accept the contract, blame us for offering it
same with Trey, he's a complete bust, but I don't blame Trey for that, he didn't draft himself

I happen to think JG did well here, cuz he did. He's older and has lost it, that happens sometimes, like in DEN. I argued he should be a backup at this point in his career during the last offseason. Raiders should have kept Carr, and once they moved off, they should have brought Stidham back, Raider Nation would agree with all that.

He's so much older... yet last season was arguably his best season.

Make it make sense.

pretty much
he's blessed McD handed him large bags of cash, after all the surg he underwent as a 49er
parting gift from McD I suppose. Once he gets done collecting the large bags of Vegas cash, that will probably be the end for JG

and the fail posts continue, 2017, 2019, 2021 all better than 2022
best was 2017, a lil alarming he didn't improve or develop his entire SF tenure

ppl didn't know what they were watching in 2022, JG didn't get better, the team around him may have..
JG was better in 17 and 19, imo
